Target enlisted Rhizome Consulting and Ketchum to develop a dynamic, web-based look book for their 2023 holiday product collection. This innovative, interactive catalogue showcased over 1,000 products, streamlining press engagement and driving holiday season sales through a cutting-edge digital experience.

Methods and Solutions

Rhizome Consulting led the design and production of the interactive digital look book, which showcased Target’s 2023 holiday product collection with over 1,000 SKUs. Using Adobe InDesign’s share features and advanced project management techniques, Rhizome orchestrated the creation, design, and delivery of this comprehensive document, integrating complex product details, URLs, and artwork.


The look book was delivered as a best-in-class interactive PDF with page-turning functionality and embedded product links. Rhizome worked closely with Ketchum and Target to update the document monthly, ensuring real-time product and content accuracy across over 100 pages of holiday offerings.

Project Outcomes

The Target 2023 Holiday Look Book significantly enhanced press engagement and meta coverage, driving interest and holiday sales. The interactive design allowed press to easily explore products and incorporate them into their coverage, with seamless navigation and instant access to product details. 


The project’s success demonstrated Rhizome’s ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders while managing large-scale product details, ensuring flawless implementation for a Fortune 500 brand during its most critical retail season.
